Lothian Gaelic Choir are a group of all ages who, as the name suggests, sing 4 part harmony choral music in Gaelic. We perform throughout the year at various events including the Edinburgh Fringe and compete in 2 or 3 competitions a year (local Mods). This prepares us for the main competitions at the Royal National Mod which takes place in October. These competitions are held all over Scotland.

Singing together is a great way to relax, have fun and make new friends. We welcome new members for all sections of the choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) so why not come along and have a go? We are a sociable choir who sing for fun and the love of Gaelic music. No experience of choral singing or Gaelic is necessary as tuition is given every week by our Conductor, Jackie Cotter, and Gaelic Tutor, Catriona Mackinnon.  CDs are also available with music and Gaelic for all sections.
